kas to antalya

We plan to drive from KAs to Antalya. What is the road like and how long will it take us ? Also are there places of interest that we should see en route ?

Thank you for your advice ? Gillian

Good road along the coast - 2h45 -

Place of interest by the road:

Myra in Demre

Arykanda near Finike (30mn in the hinterland)

Rhodiapolis near Kumluca

Confirm good roads, if you don't want to drive the buses are brilliant and it's a good way of mixing with the locals.

The D400 is a very good road. There is only one section that will test your nerves a bit and that is between Demre and Finike where the road is very twisty.

I think that maybe Geroll is being a bit of a speedy if he does it in 2h45.

If you don,t know the road I would allow just over 3 hours and that will be to the Migros centre on the edge of Antalya.

Arykanda is well worth a visit but allow yourself at least an hour or two there.

Phaselis is pretty and is just off the D400. An hour would more than cover there.

Don,t rush the drive - it is a very beautiful ride and there are some breathtaking views along the way.
