Iced coffee or latte in Kas? Problems with ice?

Dear visitors and fans of Kas,

Can anyone recommend a place to get a good iced latte in Kas? This is a daily ritual for us and it would be refreshing in the August heat. Also, do they use crushed ice in their drinks? If so, is the ice safe for health?

I did a quick search on this forum and came across a post for Cafe Likya but the last post is from 2007 and a google search did not turn up any post newer.

We are scheduled to be in Kas between August 20-25. First-time visitors and excited to go there.

John

The best Iced coffee and frappe in Kas can be found in Cafe Mola. They crush their own ice which they make from bottled water so it is completely safe to drink. Cafe Mola is situated in the inner square. If you stand with your back to the Palmiya Tea garden by the harbor you will see a lane that runs into the inner square by the side of the Orman tea garden, If you walk down this and turn left at the end Cafe Mola is the middle cafe.

Enjoy your holiday.
