Would love to hear anyone's thoughts.

1. Re: Alibey Resort Side?

Hi After being let down by TC the day before travel for booking to the Royal Dragon we reluctantly ended up in the Alibey resort

We were one of the first Brits to stay there

Having previously stayed in excellent hotels such as the Barut Lara and Delphin Palace we were obviously a bit reluctant to stay here as we had never heard of it.

Worry not It is a beautiful hotel and furnished to the highest standard. The decor and fittings and especially the bathrooms are the best i have ever seen in a hotel anywhere . The food is excellent but be aware the A La Carte restaurants have a supplement of 50 euros per couple and the All Inc drinks are restricted to local brands.

And depending when you go there if it is out of season and it rains the hotel has no indoor facilities at all. We had rain a couple of nites in Oct and had to shelter under the small canopy at the pool bar as there is nowhere inside to go after the restaurant closes.

Hope this helps

Don't worry if the company doesn't have much web presence and reviews.

Take on Billys advice and you cant go wrong.
