Trips from Commodore Elite and Spa (or surrounding hotels)

We will be visiting this hotel in mid September and as it will be our first time in the area are looking for some helping in deciding which trips to book. We are fairly fit and in our late fifties. We love nice scenery, are interested in history and don't mind how far we walk but are not adrenaline junkies! The cost isn't particularly important but we don't like spending hours on a coach. We are also wondering if Side is within strolling distance and if not what other options are available for getting there.

Thanks - Ann

The Commodore Elite is in Evrenseki which is about a 1.5 hours walk into Old Town Side or 20 minutes on the dolmus for about 3 TL each way.

Try local guide Abdullah on 0090-538-9213-468 - - he can arrange pıck up for free at your hotel gates - he also offers the Turkish Bath wıth all massages and oıl treatments for just 45 TL per person... probably a lot cheaper than in your actual hotel - - also do go on the Green Lake and Green Canyon boat tour where they have stunning scenery - only 35 Euros each and that includes lunch. The Cabrio Bus Safari is also an interesting day out and takes in 6 x different stops including Seleukia - an old Roman ruins place in the mountains - and one of the biggest mosques in Turkey - as well as an animal farm and the Manavgat Waterfalls - 20 Euros for that one including lunch.
