May I take a dolmus from Side old-town to Okurcalar (Hotel Delphin Botanik Platinum) ? How much would it cost with a taxi ?

4. Re: Dolmus to Okurcalar ?

Hi Mehmet,

People aren't allowed to advertise themselves or anyone with which they have a strong connection/get paid/commission/free trips, meals etc.

Hotel or business managers are allowed to respond to a direct question about their hotel, such as enquiries about facilities, beach, bar times, towels etc but they must not try & persuade everyone that theirs is the best hotel for the posters' needs.

In general, posters shouldn't repeatedly give out the same business/hotel etc recommendation, without trying to bring in balance, such as mentioning other options, as this can be seen as soliciting for that particular firm/business.

I like the Barut chain, for example, but I do try & suggest other places too.

If you, or anyone, has concerns over a post/posts, you can press the "report innapropriate content" button, in blue, at the bottom right of all posts (not always visible from some mobiles)

If you think a poster is pushing the boundaries of the rules too far, & you want to discuss things with a moderator (they won't answer forum posts) you can email them on:

forumsupport@tripadvisor.com

If moderators suspect people of advertising through the PM system, they can switch them off or even close the poster's account. I choose not to keep my PMs on; I haven't been misbehaving :-)

Regards

P.S. No business / hotel etc is allowed to critisise its competitors as that's also against the rules & business owners must declare who they are but not give out their web address or contact details, automatically, at the bottom of every post. Their TA profiles can contain such information.

Regards

No tantrung68 - there is no direct dolmus from Side to Okurcalar - you must change in Manavgat. I went to Manavgat yesterday and the fare is now 3 TL each way there... but it is only a 15 minute journey ...
