Tusan Beach Resort to Ephusus

We are stopping at the Tusan Beach Resort in Oct and wondered what was the best way to see Ephusus, we were considering doing a private tour but think they are pricey for two people, probably because of the cruise people bumping up the price. Is it possible to do it under your own steam including the other sites on the itinery?

The dolmus (small mini bus) runs regularly from Kusadasi to Selcuk and goes past the Tusan. The hotel will have the timetable - used to be half hourly. You can then either walk up to the Ephesus site or get a local taxi. Many get a taxi to the top gate and walk back down.

If you hire a taxi it should not cost any more than 25 euro each way.

The dolmus stop near Ephesus about half a mile walk to the bottom gate but as NZ says you can pick up a taxi from near the domus stop but it should not cost more than 6 euro then to the top gate.

Walk down through and onto the car/coach park then as you leave the car park follow the road to the right and keep walking. You will eventually reach the main road which you then cross and get the dolmus back on the other side. Its about a 20 minute walk.
