did a two centre holiday many years ago to cesme then on to altinkum, cesme is much nicer imho, the trip took about 2 hours in mini bus if i remember correctly, but we did stop on the way.

not sure about the tolls, but been through a few and the driver just passes the money to a person in a booth and they lift the barrier for you.

hope this helps.

Çeşme is approximately 240kms (150 miles) from Altınkum. The journey by car will take a little under three hours.

The Motorways are now cashless and if you hire a car you need to be sure the rental company provides the necessary for you to pass through the tolls. Either a KGS card which you use when entering and leaving the Motorway (usiing any of the lanes marked KGS) or the vehicle is fitted with an OGS sensor which allows you to drive through the OGS lanes of tolls without stopping.

The journey to Çeşme could take you along two Motorways, although the part of the journey from Selçuk can be driven for some distance partly along quite a spectacular coast road, allowing you to avoid one stretch of Motorway.

It would be an easy journey but please PM me if you would like a more detailed route plan.
