I am visitng Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus next week. Do I need Hepatitis A & B vaccines, typhoid, etc ?

Is Leishmaniasis (spread by sand flies) common in Cappadocia and Ephesus ?

2. Re: Vaccines

I basically agree with the previous post but, as with all medical questions, be guided by your doctor's recommendation.

I do know vacination for Hepatitus A is often advised.

Other vacaccinations are only recommended for extended stays especially in remote rural areas, although it is prudent to ensure polio and tetanus protection is up-to-date wherever you travel.
