Akyaka is a lovely small village easily reached from Marmaris.

Lots of info on these 2 websites.

Akyaka is lovely and well worth a visit - there are trips that go - I went with ICR from Icmeler but I believe other travel agents from Marmaris are going to do it this year.

ICR will pick you up from Marmaris though.

I have hear you can get there from the bus station in Marmaris (not the dolmus)

It is beautiful and unspollt with a lovely beach and great little restaurants - worth a visit!
