Depends what you call the centre of Marmaris the hotel is in the Siteler area and yes has bars and restaurants around it from the main road you can also get a dolmus to Marmaris marina/fountains or the other way to Icmeler.

cettia beach dolmush stops out side the hotel 2TL to marmaris or you can step out the back of the hotel and walk along the prom to the centre of marmaris, as steve says resturants just along the road turn right outside the hotel lots of shops too,come out the back of the hotel swiming pool and beach area turn right and a couple of bars futher down turn left to walk into marmaris a good bar is the no name resturant waiters are good there and friendly and a 5 min walk from the front of the hotel

If you mean centre of Marmaris as being the marina then it is a good 30/40 minute walk from your hotel not stopping along the way.
