Taxi from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah

I'm off to Dubai at the weekend and would like to know how much (roughly) a Taxi would cost from Dubai City to Ras Al Khaimah.

I have tried looking for web sites but haven't had any luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

I'm going monday took me ages to find out prices of taxis and even then the prices Ive been told range from 200 - 500 dirhams. In the end I decided to treat the family to a limo ride as none of them ever been in a limo which was 800 dirhams with dubai exotic limo. I'm then hoping can get a taxi at a good price back into dubai at the end of my stay.

Hi I'm off to Ras Al Khaimah tomorrow and wondered what you did in the end regarding your taxi. How much did pay? I have to get from Dubai airport in the cheapest way possible if anyone has any ideas.

Thank you

Best guess is something in the region of 225dhs -> 250dhs and that's be about 1 1/2 hours.

I have bumped a post for you on the dubai forum entitled "transportation 101"

Check it out.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got a taxi from the airport for about GBP30/AED220 between 2 of us. Ok I had to queue for 30mins but the airport transfer companies wanted £40 per person so I was very pleased with the deal. Thanks for the help.
