Have a look at the top questions for Dibai to the right of the posts page

Your problem will not be finding a nice restaurant but choosing from the hundreds there are to choose from.

If you want specific suggestions then tell us

Where you will be on Dubai. ?

What type of food you want to eat ?

What type of restaurant you want to eat at ?

Whether you want it to be licensed or not !

One of my favourite eating places is Basilico which is located within the Cove Rotana Hotel. Try and get an outside table on the balcony overlooking the resort and the Straights of Homuz. It also serves alcohol. Also within the resort is Cinnamon where there is a very Good Friday Brunch. Once again try and get a table on the outside terrace. A little bit tricky to get to is Emirates Sea ( no alcohol) which serves good fish and Indian food. It is located on the other side of the dual carriageway from the Bin Majid hotel. Near the Bin Majid flyover is the Afghanistani restaurant. A bit rustic and no alcohol but really good food. On the Corniche in RAK city is Pesto Italian ( no alcohol) which has a rooftop eating area. Just over the road from here is a rustic but very good Morrocan which serves a great Tajine.

For daytime you can take a drive into the mountains, this is the route link: http://tinyurl.com/ol7kcsc

The fabric souk area at Nakeel, RAK museum by Pearl roundabout, Falcon shows and sunsets in the desert at the Banyan Tree Al Wadi, camel race track, Friday brunch at the Al Hamra Fort Hotel or the par 3 course at Al Hamra golf (opposite the Waldorf Astoria). Have a look at the website Raklinx for local info and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism website.

For eating out it depends if you want alcohol, which will be only at selected hotels. La Luna at Al Hamra Marina is lovely and there is also Pesto at Al Hamra golf club which also has a great Sunday night buffet.
