Waldorf RAK

We've booked bandb at the waldorf RAK. Does anyone know of there is a mall or restaurants nearby where we could go for lunch/dinner?

The Waldorf is part of the Al Hamra complex. There are several hotel restaurants in the complex that you could use including the Golf Club. A little bit further on foot is the Al Hamra Mall where there is a fast food court, burger joints and coffee shops and a couple of nice cafés. Anywhere else would require transport of some shape or form. There are a couple of places to eat at the marina but would be a bit of a hike if the weather is hot.

Opposite the Waldorf is the Village Pub that serves food all day, the Palace hotel next door and the Hilton Al Hamra Fort is about 300m away with a Trader Vics restaurant, pub and Arabic restaurant. The golf club is next door to the Hilton, they have Sunday roast buffets and Pesto Italian restaurant. You can hop on the Al Hamra Village EZ taxi (large golf buggy) that picks up every 45mins at the golf club that goes to Al Hamra Mall. Nice little cafes there include Shakespeares on the ground floor that serves Arabic/European breakfast, lunch and dinners and Caffe Nero has decent lunch snacks. There's plenty of choice around Al Hamra without the need to venture into RAK city 30minutes away.
