Opera in Samarkand

I have a hotel during my next vacation in front of the opera theater.

Can you tell me something about the possibility to assist on any performance? Or at least if it could be possible to visit the teater?

Thanks

If you mean seeing a spectacle, you can go to the ticket box office directly to buy it on the same day. It won't be too crowded. Say one "a-din" and pay the price that they give you. It's not expensive.

Err... wait, do you mean in Samarkand? There's one in Tashkent, but to my knowledge there's no Opera House in Samarkand.

Odin Один means one. Bir in Uzbek.

I haven't heard of opera in Samarkand either - but a quick google search shows Hamid Olimjon, as routeenasie explained above. Looks like a general theatre for all kinds of performances. The best opera will be in Tashkent, where you have a critical mass of singers, instrumentalists and audience members. Great building too.
