Boutique Hoi an or anantara in Hoi an?

We are visiting for 4 nights mid may and debating whether to stay in town or by the beach, like the idea of relaxing a bit by the beach but will weather be ok then to do that? Like the idea of cycling into town and around? Any advice? We like dining out for lunch/dinner

If you stay in Hoi An in May I would say Boutique Hoi An. This is summer time with sun and warm weather and Boutique has the best beach in Hoi An. You can choose the shuttle bus or bicycle in resort to go to town for lunch/ dinner... There are some local restaurants near Boutique offer good foods and prices.

I would stay in the old town and do a few day trips out to the beach. You could spend one day at Cua Dai and another at An Bang. Staying in town gives you the best dining options close to your hotel. Vinh Hung Emerald has lovely gardens and a pool, so you can stay in town and still have somewhere nice to lie around.
