A lot depends on what time of the year you plan to visit.

Furano is best during summer for flower. Sounkyo is best during autumn for koyo. Otaru is worth going anytime but has special light-up events during winter. By Hakadonte I suppose you mean Hakodate. Hakodate is more a city and again can be visited anytime of the year but nearby Onuma Park is a popular autumn foliage destination.

Base yourself in Sapporo and do side trip to Otaru. Sapporo is worth at least a couple of days for all kinds of good Hokkaido food and it holds an annual winter illumination event from late Nov to mid Feb the following year.

Otaru is worth a day. You don’t need to stay overnight there if you don’t want to change hotels. It can be done as a daytrip from Sapporo and the town is best explored on foot. Otaru Long Christmas lighting event this year is from Nov 11 to Dec 25.

For beautiful lake scenery and a relaxing onsen experience, consider going to Toya-ko. Besides also enjoying onsen, Noboribetsu has some sightseeing on volcanic activity and some tourist attractions such as Bear Park (not worth going), Edo Wonderland and Marine Park Nixe. Some hotels in Toya-ko and Noboribetsu provide hassle-free shuttle service from Sapporo.

If you still have extra days, consider a scenic trip to the Shakotan Peninsula. The view from Kamui Misaki is breathtaking. There are 1-day bus tours to the peninsula from Sapporo or Otaru but I’m not sure whether the tours would still be available during winter months. We drove in the summer and fully enjoyed the scenery along the coastal road.

During the winter, Furano isn't the most exciting place to go unless your objective is to ski there. However, there are numerous ski resorts in Hokkaido including the very famous Niseko area. Sounkyo is a nice onsen experience but you can also get that elsewhere.

If you like scenery, Hakodate isn't worth the time either. It's a nice city with some views but then, it's just another city. Shakotan Peninsula mentioned by William above is the place to go.

Otaru is such an easy day trip from Sapporo that you should definitely go.

hakodate is nice for the market. they have king crab and sea urchin everywhere. you can get grilled sea urchin in the shell for breakfast or fresh king crab legs. baked potatoes too. but otherwise not particularly a scenery place.

however, i am still hesitating to go on package tour or free and easy. wonder which is cheaper and also during winter (1st time experience snow) will it be difficult to get around?
