4 star hotel where child stays free ?

can you recommend a 4 star hotel to stay at in Tokyo where a child of 10 years can stay free in a room with 2 adults. W only have 1 full day and 2 nights so would like something well located to transport , tourist attractions and easily accessable to airport.

Hyat, Hilton, westin, intercontinental... These hotel groups will all allow children under age 12 to stay for frree in the same room, but understand that nobextra bed will be provided. Same is true for the city's 5 star hotels... Free but no extra bed (but the Peninsula Tokyo did provide a bed for our then 10 year old free of charge so always ask). As a rule, one child 12 or under can share a room a bedding with parent for frree but an extra bed is charged.

For location I don't think you can beat the Peninsula but it is perhaps beyond your budget. Maybe look at the shinjuku hotels like Hyatt Regency, Hilton, Century Southern Tower, Keio Plaza. Shibuya has a Tokyu Excel hotel that may suit you.
