Yamashita park

18 Dec- Disney Sea

19 Dec- Tsukiji Market

Sumida River ( Hama Rikyu Gardens )

Sensoji Temple

20 Dec- Edo-Tokyo Museum

Kokugikan Sumo Museum

Great Kanto Earthquake Museum

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office

21 Dec- Mount Fuji ( Kawaguchiko 5th station)

22 Dec- Shibuya station ( Hachiko!!!)

Meiji Jingu

Yoyogi park

23 Dec- Imperial Palace

The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace

Roppongi Hills

24 Dec- Ooedo-Onsen-Monogatari

25 Dec- Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Midtown

26 Dec- Akihabara & Ueno

Is this enough??? Is there any place that I may have missed??? I'm staying at a Ryokan in Shinagawa. I am still wondering if the JR pass is worth the price because it is not usable on subways, many thanks ^^

JR pass? No reason at all to have that as you are doing virtually no long distance travel. If you have already purchased a voucher, you might want to look at cancelling and getting your money back.

I would throw in another few day trips, eg to Enoshima/Kamakura for one day (easy to do from Shinjuku Station with a 1 day pass) and probably go to Nikko for a day as well.. If you want, you could make a Kanto area pass pay off

Some passes you could use

Maple is right, go to Nikko, Kamakura and see the countryside, how about hakone? (not sure if dec is a great time to visit but..), ive been to most of the places on that list and did it in five days easily (including a full day the the tokyo anime fair).

5th station isn't very interesting. Replace with Hakone and use the Hakone Free Pass.

Imperial Palace is another place you could consider skipping. The Oedo Monogatari Onsen takes just a couple hours. You should plan on visiting Odaiba as well during that day.

Your trip is indeed relatively light. Head for more day trip destinations.

Good advice as always from Sammyfloyd. I do like the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, but I recommend Kiyosumi Teien garden. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3034_006.html It's two stops from the Edo Tokyo Museum on the Oedo subway line. Nearby is the Fukagawa Edo Museum. Much smaller and more intimate than the Edo Tokyo Museum (which I do recommend), it's a recreated neighborhood. tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g1066449-d…

You will see few old houses in Tokyo. Nihon Minkaen is a fine collection of old houses from all over Japan, in a nice wooded setting: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3253.html It's just a 20-minute train ride, plus a 20-minute stroll from Shinjuku station.

As MapleG suggests, the Kanto Area Pass is a great pass. Get one and go to Nikko, Kawaguchiko and Kamakura or Izu:

5th Station is not a sightseeing destination. If you want to see MT. Fuji, Kawaguchiko is the place to go.

Last week, I went to Nikko, Kawaguchiko and Takasaki (just to ride the Shinkansen) with a pass and saved 15,000yen+.
