Where to stay for 2 nights in Tokyo?

I'm not familiar with the geography of Tokyo at all. What are some good areas/neighborhoods to stay in that are close to good sightseeing and good food?

Single early 30's male traveling alone, arriving early July for the start of a 3-week Asia trip. I plan on spending two nights there and want to use that time to just get myself situated and recover from a long flight from east coast USA before moving on to other places.

Thank you!
