construction work at Kasuga Taisha?

Wonder if construction work is still going on, will be visiting at the end of March. What will be under construction? Can I still see corridors with lanterns?

No personal knowledge, but I did not want your query to go unanswered. This is what I found from the Google translation of this web site-- http://www.kasugataisha.or.jp/ --and other sources. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of my information.:

In the old days, the shrine was rebuilt every 20 years. Now it undergoes repair and restoration every 20 years. The current cycle started in 2007 and is nearing completion. So far as I can tell, the work is currently on a couple of buildings, but you should still be able see the corridors of lanterns. I saw them in Flickr pictures apparently taken this year. This link might show them: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=kasuga+taisha&d=taken-20140101-&ss=0&ct=0&mt=all&w=all&adv=1
