Help in filling up the itinerary..

Hi all,

Planning for a short stay in wakayama

I am kind of lost in this area of planning, where should I stay ? Which area ? Wakayama seem very big, n the infor I got from diff website seem like a puzzle to figure.

Day 1 Kuroshio market, Tama station n fruit picking in surrounding area.

Day 2 area in shirahama n saki-no-you onsen

Day 3 Koyasan

Question 1 , in the shirahama area, wat exactly I can see ? Beach, sea sport activities, n onsen hopping ? Where should I stay to go Koyasan more convenient the next morning ? I prefer to stay in 1 location to see day 1 n day 2, is it possible ?

Question 2, is there other places to see or if I need more days in this area ?

Question 3, if it possible to do day 1 and 2 together in one day ? I m not keen in water sports. Just into travel the surrounding n onsen ..

Especially I dun even know wat is ard the area,.

Q1. Shirahama is famous for beaches, onsen and coastal features.

From Wakayama city. Take JR to Hashimoto and chg to Nankai Koyasan line to Koyasan.

From Kii Tanabe, take bus to Koyasan

Q2. Apart from world heritage Koyasan, Kumano-kodo is another world heritage in Wakayama. Allow 3-4 days if you want to visit Nachi Taisha and Shingu in the east. Driving would be easier along the coast and in the mts if you want to explore.
