Flight Connection

I have 2 flights booked on the same day from kuching to KL then KL to Langkawi. Both are with Malaysia airlines. The second flight time has been changed since booking so we now have 2 hours between the first flight landing and the second taking off.

I have read on the Malaysia Airlines website that if we state our final destination on check in at Kuching airport that they will handle our baggage onto the connecting flight at KL. With this in mind, do people think 2 hours between flights is enough time.

Thanks in advance

2 hrs will be plenty, the airline wouldn't book you onto a connecting flight if you didn't have enough time - especially as your bags will be checked thru to Langkawi

have fun!

should be good. did you book it as one flight? with a connection? because if it is all on one ticket, your luggage, and you, should be checked right through to lgk. and if your flight from kuching were to be delayed, MAS would be responsible for you completing your journey, and for accommodation in kl if necessary.

however, if you booked two separate flights, and you miss the lgk flight, then they are not obliged to get you there. [sometimes they will allow you to take the next flight with seats, but they can insist you buy a new ticket - it is up to them.]
