Beachside stay options for December 2014

Hi

We are 3 couples with 6 kids in the age group 2-11 looking for a good place to stay from December 29th 2014 to jan 2, 2015. We are unable to find a good beachside private villa like Bali etc. our total budget is USD 800 per day .

Thanks in advance,

Sanjay

It's monsoon season so you need to stick to the west coast. But it is also school holidays, Xmas and New Yr holidays and Malaysians will be using up their annual leave - peak season on west coast. Hotels will be busy and expensive. I suggest you try somewhere on Langkawi or even Pangkor,

Hi Sanjay,

As stated in above post as well, Bali is in southern hemisphere with lots of rain.

Langkawi has good mixture for all the age groups. Try Holiday Villa as it offers lot of activities within the resort. It will suit your budget as well. In langakwi majority of the hotels does not have "absolute beach front" villas like thailand has. this resort has massive pools of all varied depths, a good wide beachfront and infinity pool as well. The resort has other activities like tennis, kids sections and variety of restaurants within.

CheerS!

Luv.

Dear Sanjay,

I don't know the price of SangRia and haven't been there in a while but that is a great choice.

You might be able to find something suitable with Meritus Pelangi.

Temple Tree has a few bigger houses and is certainly gorgeous but not on the beach.
