Athuruga

Hi Guys,

Just booked Athuruga for our Honeymoon for 7 nights in September. I have a few questions.

Can anyone tell me what lager they serve? I need to brace myself if I'm going to need to drink Carlsberg for 7 nights on the run.

In the A La Carte restaurant does anyone have a link to a menu. I just fancied knowing what they do.

Trips. I've seen the names of the excursions offered by most islands. Fishermans island, sunset cruise etc.. I was wondering if anyone could just confirm what they consist of. I've heard someone say about a trip where they dumped them on a sandbank in the middle of nowhere for 10 minutes, then drive the boat away. I don't know why but I fancy doing that. I guess the feeling that you're the only person in the world sort of fascinates me and this would be a little like that.

Cheers

Guess you are going in a water villa [we did not],,,,,,,, a la cart is i think a choice of three or four main dishes , the restaurant is not very big so a small choice of [excellent] food or you can go to the main restaurant for the buffet food ,,,,, as for beer i think it was san miguel and lion , also bottles of heineken and carlsberg .

Personally i would not bother with the fisherman island trip , we did the night fishing trip @$20 each .

Hi

Lagers - there were draught - eg San Miguel and either Tiger / Lion - and also bottled lagers

We had a beach villa so didnt eat A la Carte - friends ate there and said that was always a pasta course. The buffet restaurant was fantastic - you could select the AI wines!! There were also several AI cocktail nights.

We will return there soon - enjoy

Thanks for the replies dudes.

So what trips would you each suggest and could you possibly give me a description of what goes on exactly on that tour.

Cheers
