Mirihi water villa numbers

I was in Mirihi last year and loved it so much that I'm going again this year. We stayed in one of the water villas that are slightly further out on the water in a crescent rather than the ones that are almost on the beach. Does anyone know what those villa numbers are?

Also I'd like to email Mirihi and request one of the ones in that area, does anyone have an email adress for the reservations manager?

Sorry to thread butt - but, are the villas in the crescent shape considered to be in a better position? And if so, what makes this position better?

We are also visiting Mirihi (in July) and would appreciate some guidance with regard to well positioned water villas for snorkelling. Or are they all pretty much the same?

Any help is much appreciated : )

Caitlin.

They are slightly further out into the water so they feel more like over water villas. The ones that are closer and in a row are just a few metres from the sand.

as a general rule .. the higher the number , the more you get morning sun ...the lower numbers have afternoon sun.

the water is lower under number 7-20 and you are not able to get over the reeftop there .. you have to walk about 50 seconds and enter a few feet to either side or swim the same distance.

have stayed in both sets of villas several times and never found a "bad one" . the benefit of the lower numbers is that its easier to watch the reef life due to less depth. we have sat on the deck there, idly watching octopus , hunting morays, etc ...

the lower numbers are closer to restaurants, dive center, etc

We returned a week ago and had a fabulous time.

We stayed in No 12 and had the sun from approx 10am until approx 5pm, but you will be grateful for some shade on accasion !!

You are able to snorkel over the reef directly from the villa steps at high tide but at lower tides,as previously mentioned, you have to be careful.

However, 2 minutes to the other side of the island and you can snorkel to your hearts content at any time. It is absolutely stunning.

hi

We were at Mirihi in Feb and had room 30 this had sun from 8.00am to about 3.30pm, You could swim from the steps of your wv even at low tide although you still need to be careful as there is so much coral about( which is great of course).
