Weather in Maldives

We are getting married in mid September and had planned to spend our two week honeymoon in the Maldives.

I just checked the historic weather(Wunderground) for late Sept. early October and found that there had been a lot of rain during these times in the last 5 years.

Couple of things then, are these rainfalls generally all day events or do they last an hour or so then go away.

Another thing would be if anyone can recommend another place to go to which luxury goes hand in hand with good weather. I understand that weather is unpredictable but a guide would be handy.

Mick, there is lots of info and speciality pages available, just type in weather in the little box top left, there's plenty in there for a weeks Reading. The Maldives like all over has had changing conditions over the years, but you wil be very unlucky to get constant rain, it's most of a night late pm, or showers that come - drop - go.

Good luck.
