When the sun is out it can get quite warm, especially when you are in it. We have been having partially cloudy days but overall they have been very comfortable. Night time temperatures have been cold, with the temps occasionally dropping to freezing, but normally it has been a little above that.

In Lima...cloudy, gray, damp, temperature may drop to 14°C late at night or early in the morning, drizzle, sensation of lower temperature. Paracas, cloudy until 9-10 am, temperature progressively increases and reaches 18°-22° at noon. Nazca is similar but feels hotter because it is drier (on the middle of the desert). Arequipa has warm days 16°C and cool nights 10°s or lilttle below, no rain. Colca and Puno, warm during the daytime 17°C and very cold in the evenings and early morning hours (actually sometimes freezing temperatures, just below 0°as Lylle says). Cusco city, not so cold as Puno, almost no rain

Mid-September in Cusco, Puno, Colca, should I bring a fleece or something more light?

Thanks

Bring a fleece, they don't weigh much. Some hotels don't have heating stronger than a space heater (although the blankets are usually warm enough for sleeping, it can be chilly when you get up in the morning).
