The Victory Liner bus (www.victoryliner.com) that goes from Baguio to Pasay passes through Makati via Edsa. Get off at the Ayala Ave. stop which is behind the Intercontinental Hotel. What is your budget for the hotel?

Thanks! Vanilla Bean

My Budget is $60-80. I was looking at three already but don't know if they are good. Also with an early flight do you think there will be taxis available at 4:30-5:00am that will take us to the airport? Thanksfor your immediate reply.

The hotels are the Best Western Astor located @ 7835 Eduque Street@ around $46, Pavillion located at United Nations Ave. @ around $60 and the City Garden Makati located at the Corner of Makati Ave. priced @ around $65. What is your recommnedation?

Among the 3 mentioned hotels, The Pavilion is not in Makati, but Manila. Of the 2 left, the City Garden gets better reviews. If you are just staying for the night, and not doing any shopping, etc. this could be the one for you. You can ask the hotel to arrange a car service to take you to the airport, however Makati Ave. is alive at all hours, so you might be able to cab with no problem. Another option is to call a cab company and arrange for pickup from your hotel. Some charge extra for this, but it's usually only just US$1-2 on top of the total meter charge.
