Anzani and/or Abaca restaurants

Have a slot for lunch and dinner during a quick trip to Cebu very soon. Wanted to treat myself for a good meal without the usual pig-out associated with our Cebu trips (oh those sutukil, and countless trips to those lechon restos).

Are any of these (Anzani / Abaca) really good or just hyped? Which is better for lunch and dinner? Or if I have to choose one, which should I drop?

Or is there any new noteworthy resto that needs to be checked out?!

I can comment on Abaca.. Very high class place.. Very nice decor, and upscale dinning. The food, well I am always conserved to give to many opinions on things that are personal preference. I try to stay with the facts.

For me the pillow might be soft, for others might be hard. I might hate baked fish, but others would love. I might enjoy something, that others will not. So hard to really tell anyone about food, hotels, or anything for me..

I can tell you this.. Very high class, and expect to spend a large amount of money... But again, that is large amount for me, might be small amount for you. Average meal P 1000 to 1500.. Good decor, clean, will find a lot of your high class citizens dinning here. Do not know if its because the food is so good, or its a prestige thing... Lots of fancy dishes, fancy wines, and real fancy everything... I sure do not complain when someone takes me there for a free meal...
