Tour to Peterhof and Catherine Palace and Restaurants

Hi,

I am going to St Petersburg later in the month and i was hoping someone would be able to recommend a tour for the day to both Peterhof and Catherine's Palace.

Also does anyone have any restaurant recommendations for St Petersburg - I would like some authentic Russian food.

hi,

it's almost impossible to combine Peterhof and Pushkin - that's where the Cathrine Palace is - in one day. (Some tours combine Pushkin and Pavlovsk in one day). The two towns are not in the same direction, so you'll spend too much time driving/riding. Besides, Pushkin and Peterhof are well worth to spend a day in each of the places.

It is quite a popular combination especially for those who have limited time in St.Petersburg. The private tour to include Catherine's palace and Peterhof Garden will take about 8 hours total. It is full but enjoyable day.

There are thousands of nice restaurants in St.Petersburg.

I think your choice will depend on the place where you stay and the price limit.

Some of the Russian cuisine places are from the cheaper to more expensive - Blinny Domik on Kolokolnaya street, Sadko on Theatre Square, Tsar on Sadovaya street
