Where in Guangzhou can I buy jade? more like jade bracelets and charms and also the beauty tool "Jade Face Roller".

Are there also antique stores in Guangzhou?

Thanks.

Hi pepperchip,

Always ask for genuine certification by approved Institution.

Beware, they are fake jade all over China

Thanks for your tip. My way of finding out if it's real jade or not is the stone emits a certain cold feeling, it's genuine.

Hmm... be careful about the coldness factor. We got some in an outdoor place a long time ago and although the person said it was true jade, it didn't really feel like it as time progressed.

Oh no, so the coldness factor can't be reliable. I'll just keep that in mind. Thankyou.

Buying jade can be a big scam starter, I think if you don't know what you're buying, better not buy it.

Jade can be expensive, but unless you're a professional, I wouldn't spend more than Y30 for a stone that I'm not quite sure what it is. Many big department stores in China don't guarantee they're selling genuine stuff.

1)Marble is cold.and could be use for imitation jade

2)color of stone can be injected by chemical.

3)color could also be bleached.

Yes ,do not invested too much if you cannot tell from fake or genuine.

Cheers
