May 3 nights itinerary

Hi everyone

Hope you can help..planning a trip for a family of 4 for end of May.

What would be a suggested itinerary to include:

- Longji rice terraces (assuming its a good time to go end of May)

- Li river cruise

- bamboo rafting

- caves (which is the best one)

Anything else that I've missed?

Also, where is good to stay?

Thanks!

The Longji rice terrace fields are usually irrigated in late May and should be nice in the end of May. In your time schedule, would prefer to skip the caves and spend more time in Longji and Yangshuo.

After you tour the Longji, just head straight to Yangshuo and spend the rest of the time in Yangshuo and do the short rafting in Yulong River or Yangdi-Xingping of Li River rather than the long cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.

Hi aslam,

Very glad to answer your questions. According to your case, I'd like to show you the itinerary belwo.

Day1. Arrive at Guilin airport and transfer to hotel, relax yourselves at the rest of today. (If u still have lots of time after arrival, u can visit 1 or 2 scenic spots in Guilin city). Sleep in Guilin.

Day2. A round-trip from Guilin to Longji. Sleep in Guilin.

Day3. In the morning, take the Li River Cruise from Zhujiang Pier downstream to Yangshuo county. Recommend the big boat which is tailor-made for foreigners. In the afternoon, visit the Silver Cave which highly represents Guilin Karst landform. U may also watch the Impression Sanjie Liu in the evening. Stay in Yangshuo.

Day4. Drift along the Yulong River (located in Yangshuo) with a local farmer poling for u on a real bamboo raft.U can also have a try on poling the raft by yourselves.

Day5. Almost shopping time and preparing for departure. Final arrangements depending on your departure time.

Wish all the best!
