One week itinerary

Me and my partner will arrive in guilin around mid may for a week and need ideas for our itinerary. We would prefer to avoid crowded places and spend more time at longsheng and yangshuo. We are also thinking about visitinng xingping.

I would appreciate suggestions for budget accommodation with good river or village scenery.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi tabibito,

The itinerary below is one of the Guilin, Longsheng & Yangshuo Tours offered by our service agent. Just for reference, hope to be helpful. (This itinerary contains Guiiln, Longsheng, Yangshuo, Xingping. And accommodations please visit http://www.guilinholiday.com/hotel). Thank you!

Day 1: Arrival at Guilin (No meal)

Meet your guide at Guilin airport or Guilin Train Station and transfer to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.

Day 2: Guilin to Longsheng (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Longsheng and have a full day excursion to Longsheng for the Rice Terraces and ethnic minority culture. It takes 2 hours to get to Longji – a place of Longsheng County, where the terraced field is a fascinating scenic spot for tourist. You also have a chance to go close to two minority groups—Zhuang and Yao nationality and enjoy their colorful tradition and custom. Visit some Minority villages there and stay one night in Pingan village.

Day 3 Longsheng to Guilin (B, L)

Drive back to Guilin and visit a tea farm on the way, then have lunch in a good local restaurant in Guilin to try tasty Guilin cuisine. Visit Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill in the afternoon. Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. And the summit of Fubo Hill is the best place where you can get a good bird’s eye view of the whole city.

Day 4 Guilin Li River cruise down to Yangshuo (B, L)

Check out your hotel in the morning. And drive to Yangdi Wharf for a 2-hour's rafting from Yangdi to Xingping on Li River - You will enjoy the very essence of Li River, mostly all the highlights are included in this area. Disembark at Xingping and visit this ancient town. Afterwards, transfer to Yangshuo.

Day5 Take an authentic bamboo raft along Yulong River, bike through countryside of Yangshuo.

Day6 Guilin Departure (B)

Free time to stroll around Yangshuo, do some shopping before you leave. Transfer to Guilin Airport or Guilin Train Station for departure.

Service ends.

B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner

Guilin, China
