Silver Cave or Reed Flute Cave

Could I please have some advice on which is the nicest, most impressive cave to visit. We are staying in Guilin and Yangshou so we can go to either. Thanks for your advice.

both are extraordinary. If your family consist of senior or very young kids, the Reed Flute, the road trip is flatter; while Silver cave is newer, steeper, more steps to climb. if you come in the summer time, both are cool inside :)

Our family of,four went to the Silver Cave. I was put off by reports of too much touristy stuff at Reed Flute cave. We thought Silver Cave was amazing. The gift shop was in fact excellent, one of the best we saw on the whole two week trip. We stayed between tour groups and felt that we had it more to ourselves. Our guide lives in the Yangshuo area and told us flat out that Silver Cave was by far better. We really enjoyed it.

Silver Cave is located in Maling Town, Lipu County, Guilin. It’s only 18 kilometers from Yangshuo. There are 28 brilliant, unique and beautiful attractions. Different stalactites like stone pillars, stone pagodas, stone curtain, and stone waterfall, constitute the wonders of Karst world, no wonder it praised as "the world cave wonders". Presently, tourists can take a tour of only 2 km.

Reed Flute Cave is situated in the highway of the Guangming Hill, which is in the northwestern suburbs of Guilin. Reed Flute Cave is like a magnificent and spectacular underground palace made of precious stone, corals, and jades. It is exquisite, quiet and deep, spectacular and peculiar reed flute cave and the green and rippling fragrant Lotus Pool. This cave is about 240 meters long and you may enjoy 1 hour here.

You can choose one on your interest.
