Lou Gan Tai Pandas

We are arriving in Xian at 9am on the train from Beijing and will spend the day seeing to main sights.

We initially planned to catch the 12.15pm flight the next day to Guilin/Yangshuo but are now debating whether or not to catch the 5pm flight and spend the day seeing the pandas at the rescue centre at Lou Gan Tai.

Is a trip to the pandas worth doing and how much should we expect to pay for a return taxi trip?

Either way we will be having three full days in Yangshuo.

Thanks XianWildbee, the trip to the pandas sounds good although 400yuan is a bit more than we wanted to spend. I have read on another post where someone did it earlier this year for 270yuan so I may try and find that post again.

I would still appreciate hearing from someone who has done the trip as to whether it is worthwhile.
