What to do with overnight bag when visiting HIroshima?

We will be traveling from Kyoto to Hiroshima, spending the night on Miyajima Island then heading to Tokyo. There are 4 of us and I am planning on using the luggage service and having our bags sent straight from Kyoto to Tokyo. Pretty sure the 4 of us can get down to two overnight bags for Miyajima, but still don't want to carry those around with us while exploring Hiroshima. Are there lockers at the JR station we could store them in? Or near the ferry to Miyajima Island?

There are a couple of coin locker areas in Hiroshima station. Easy to find and easy to drop over night bags there. Maybe even easier....there are coin lockers inside the Peace Museum. As you enter to pay admission, go to the right of the admission desk and there are many lockers there.

coin lockers at peace museum are "free". put in your coin and lock up; you get your coin back when you retrieve your bag.
