6min on Subway Yotsubashi Line(blue) or 7min on Subway Midosuji Line(red).

FYI, for a first-timer, the undergound passageways are perhaps maze-like particularly around the Subway Umeda area. So you might as well surface to the ground level soon after you arrive at Subway Umeda on Midosuji Line. The easiest way to hit Hep from here is to exit on the JR Osaka side and then cross the boulevard to Hankyu Department side. There's a large hallway penetrating Hankyu Department Store on the ground level, so if you get in there and walk straight ahead, you'll be on the sidewalk facing Hep on your left-hand side forward.

Enjoy your stay.

Thank-you this is most helpful. I am sure we will enjoy our trip. Japan seems to have so many diverse and wounderful places to see. Our family is getting very excited.
