i agree that the bus is the way to travel. found NICE bus company clean and comfortable for the 6 hour trip. will be trying aeroline next trip as price is the same as for NICE bus.

there are other bus companies that are cheaper but have read that they might not be so clean or reliable. trip from singapore to kl costs S$48.

have fun.

I prefer the express train to the bus but flying is best of all.

There are several ways to fly form Singapore to KL or you can take a taxi or bus to the JB airport and then fly cheaply to KL.

Bus or train are your better options. As mentioned by other advisors, the bus options are NICE or AEROLINE express buses. Check out details in their websites: http://www.parkmayberhad.com/nice.html for the former and http://www.aeroline.com.my for the latter. On the train service, login the following website for details: http://www.ktmb.com.my. Click on "intercity" and then click on "fare and timetable". The night train offers you sleeping berth.

Happy choosing.
