LCCT to Kuala Lumpur

We are arriving at the LCCT at 7am and fly out later that day at 4pm. To fill in time we want to go into KL for a few hours. We assume we would be ready to leave the airport by 8.30am.

What is the best and most economic way to get to KL and what time should we leave KL to ensure we are back at LCCT by around 1.30pm? Is it quicker to get a taxi to KLIA and then the express train into KL Sentral?

Also do they have luggage storage at LCCT?

guess it will depend on where you want to go to in KL, but taxi directly from LCCT to KL is the easiest and probally the most quickest. As 20mins from LCCT to KLIA, then find station, then wait for next train, then 30min to KLSentral, then taxi or train to your prefered desintation.

The shops do not usually open to 10am, although there will be coffee shops etc open for breakfast.

There is left luggage at KLIA, but can't say I've seen any at LCCT but haven't been looking.

You would need to be leaving KL about 1pm [1300] to travel back directly to LCCT for your checkin for the 4pm flight - more if you are coming back via KL Ekpress.

Left luggage is available at the LCCT however is relatively expensive and charged per piece.

You can catch the AirAsia bus into Sentral Station RM9 each way. You should allow about an hour each trip. From Sentral you could bus or taxi to chinatown in a few minutes.

Remember that the AA check-in counter closes 60 minutes before flight so factor this into your timings.
