Duty Free Alchohol in transit vi LCCT KL to Borneo

If I buy Duty Free grog in Perth will I be able to get it through the LCCT in KL, on route to Tawau Borneo, without it being confiscated?

Yes, If you pack it in your checked bag before you check in at LCCT.

It may be OK with your handluggage if it's in a customs sealed bag ,Personally I wouldn't risk it.

Why not just buy at LCCT?

Flight from KL to Sabah (Tawau) are domestic flights, therefore buying duty free for that leg may not available.

I have carried duty free from Australia to Kota Kinabalu via KL without trouble. It must be in a sealed duty free bag.

When you buy the duty free in Australia, they can check for you.
