Are there mini-buses from LCCT to KL hotels?

I am traveling with a group of friends - 11 elderly ladies in all and we will make a one night stop in KL on our way from BKK to Yogya, flying Air Asia.

Logistics require advance planning for our overnight stop and knowing all my friends' antics I would love to leave all our luggage at the LCCT and take only a small day pack into town and get back to the airport the following day without luggage burden.

Is there a luggage service at LCCT? If yes, what is their operating hours?

In case we can't leave the luggage, is there a taxi mini-bus that we can hire to take us to the hotel in central KL? Can we book in advance or do we have to try our luck once we get there?

Haven't been to KL for years so I have to rely on the updates from you here.

Thanks a million.

Yes there is left luggage. The prices are not cheap, and actually work out more expensive than taking a van into the city, as they will charge between 38-48myr per case.

Yes, you are right.

I've checked the left luggage rate for 24 hours - almost the same cost for return fare airport-city.

If I need 2 vans, do I need to book in advance or just go to the taxi counter once cleared from immigration and customs, assuming they have enough vans available?

Thanks for your help.

You can just go to the taxi counter and buy vouchers for 2 family-sized taxis. Voucher will cost RM199.80 each. No prior booking necessary.

Alternatively you can book 2 Skyvans 3 days before your arrival. Actually works out cheaper at RM170 per van if you go with this company.

Another good company we have used three or four times now is LCCT Limo - again you need to book three days out -

Their price from Bukit Bintang to LCCT is 150MYR.

From LCCT to Bukit Bintang is 150MYR + 15MYR airport pick up waiting fee.

You can book by text message.
