Welcome to the forum.

That's not very much information for us to help you...there are around 100 resort islands, many have some form of water villa (small, large, with jacuzzi bath, with hot tub, with plunge pool, adjacent to the reef, with butler etc etc)....even more than one form on some islands....the resorts differ.....and prices vary hugely.

I suggest you also have a read of this FAQ so that you can tell us what a "reasonable and nice" resort for you would ideally be:

Hi,

Thank you for you guidance.

I am planning my Dream Honeymoon is Maldives in the month of Jan 2014 for 6 nights.

Too be honest, i have a budget constrain. I can spend approximately INR 1–1.25 on my accommodation+meal and my better half is very keen on staying in a water villa.

Request your kind opinion on a not too expensive but a decent resort with water villa.

Jan is high season so the prices are more expensive.

Can you give your budget in US dollars please?

I think you will struggle to get a WV for 6 nights on that budget. Jan is good for weather, but prices are high.

Try searching for your dates & criteria on the Purely Maldives website - they offer lots of rooms/islands/board. Their prices include accommodation, taxes, transfers and board as selected:

I not think it's possible either. Not sure who has the cheapest water villas?

Due to budget, I would pick a resort close to male to reduce transfer costs and then just get the room you can afford. So pick your resort first,

I would have thought Fihalhohi would be available for that price, if it is not already fully booked.
