Transport from Ninoy to Domestic Airport

Am arriving at Ninoy terminal 2, and need to get to the domestic airport to catch a flight to Boracay.

Can anyone advise what sort of transport is available, approximate cost, and length of journey? Happy to take a taxi but understand can be difficult to get a licensed cab?

Many thanks!

Don't worry -- Terminal 2 has airport taxis that can be found right when you exit the arrival lounge. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the Domestic Airport and the approx cost would be Php 250.00

Enjoy your trip =)

Hello Jenmro

NAIA terminal 2 is the PAL terminal. It is supposed to be for PAL flights only, although I have heard of some others passing through there. One side is for domestic and one side is for international.

If your flight is also on PAL to Kalibo, you are already at the domestic airport. You can have your bags checked all the way through. After clearing customs and immigration, you just walk up the stairs and into the domestic section.

If you are booked all the way through on PAL, you have to have an internal customs inspection at Manila. This involves you taking your luggage off the carousel and presenting it to the customs inspector beside the carousel who, when satisfied all is in order, will place a yellow customs tag on your luggage and have it placed back on the carousel for baggage handlers to put it on your next flight. You can read more about this process on PAL's inflight magazine while you are on your way to the Philippines.

If your flight to Kalibo or Caticlan is with another airline, check with the airline to see if they have a free shuttle from the PAL terminal to the Manila domestic terminal.

If you can get a taxi who will use the meter, the fare will be maximum P50 from the PAL terminal to the Manila domestic terminal. To get a taxi with meter from the PAL terminal, you could try catching a taxi upstairs that has just dropped off a departing passenger.

I hope this helps
