Manila airport transfer from terminal 2 to 3

Hey everyone,

Wondering if you could give me some incite on the following:

My party of four will be flying into Manila International airport terminal 2 via Philippine Airlines on a MONDAY at 5:10AM.

We are going to try and catch our flight at terminal 3, leaving for Coron via Cebu Pacific at 9:40AM.

How long does customs, immigration & collection of baggage usually take coming from an international flight?

How is the traffic in Manila at this time & how long will it take to go from terminal 2 to 3?

Is taxi our best bet? And is it P150 per cab ride or per person?

If we "amazing race" it style.. Do you think we will make it?!

Thanks in advance for your responses! :)

After reading all your comments I am worried!! Is it possible or should I change my flights?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Most definitely.

If your flight is with Cebu pacific, you have to be checked in 45 minutes prior to departure. After the 45 minute deadline, they will not check you in, even if you are in the queue. By the way, when they sell you the Cebu Pacific tickets, they tell you the check in is 3 hours prior to departure.

You are not likely to be checked in 45 minutes prior to departure, even if the PAL plane is on time.

I am looking at a flight that arrives into Manila from Coron at 1205 with Cebu Pacific and leaves for South Korea at 1520

-----------------------

Unless both flights are with Cebu Pacific on the same itinerary,

- To make sure you are in Manila ready for your international flight, my suggestion is you fly to Manila the night before.

- I personally would not trust a 3 hour difference for an international flight. Sometimes you have huge queues getting through the international terminals starting at the front entrance with large queues to get inside then large queues to pay the terminal fee then large queues through customs.

You're welcome and by the way, you need to pay Php20 for the shuttle.

The shuttle travels between all terminals at the airport but I once waited several hours for the shuttle and have not bothered with it since. Only use the shuttle if you have plenty of time. Otherwise, catch a taxi

The shuttle is now being operated by a different company and it is not anymore just a van rather a real bus (with some vans) and expect to wait not more than 20 mins. as promised by the company.
