Where to stay in Manila if arriving at 8:00 PM?

My international flight arrives at 8:00 PM in Manila. So it may take an hour to clear the custom and immigration.

1. Should a stay at an airport hotel that night or go to the hotel in town ?

2. Option for transportation to the town ?

3. How long it takes to go to the town ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

<<1. Should a stay at an airport hotel that night or go to the hotel in town ?>>

As MH says when does your flight leave?

<<2. Option for transportation to the town ?>>

Taxis at the airport or organise a Private Driver.

<<3. How long it takes to go to the town ?>>

Depends on where in town and what time of day as the traffic can be very congested. If you choose Makati probably about 30 mins.

If you plan to stay in Manila, just go straight to your planned hotel. Regardless of which terminal, look for the yellow airport taxis. They are metered.

Whether you stay near the airport or not you will still need transportaion to get to your hotel.

I wouldnt be concerned about the time of night and getting a taxi but if you are look to the right

It is pretty safe to get an airport taxi at night and go straight to your hotel. No need to book at an airport hotel because the other hotels are just several miles away from the airport. The traffic situation will dictate how long you may reach the hotel. During thurs, friday, and sat traffic is at its worst! If your hotel is in Makati business distirct it will take you 30mins to get there from the airport. If your hotel is in Manila along Roxas blvd then you may reach it in 20mins or so.

If you have not booked an hotel, what is your budget in PHP or US$ per night - we could then suggest one.
