changing money

Where is the best place to chang money in Manila, I am staying near Michaels Galleria. I have been to Thailand numerous times and you can change your money in shopping centres or at money changers in the street, can I do this in Manila?

there are 17 pages on this if you do a search for 'money change manila.' although if you are going to be travelling around and have on line banking there is a lot to be said for setting up an account with orbitremit in australia and then have them send the money for you to collect at a branch of mlhuiller - do a google search and they have branches everywhere and you can collect money 7 days a week - takes about 24 hours after you transfer your money online to their aussie bank. keep some cash and visa / mastercard in reserve

Edzen and stablemate Sheena moneychangers are by far the best. Open 0800 to 0200 daily and also close to Robinsons Place Manila mall in Ermita.

They are in A. Mabini Street, Ermita (Manila Bay area), not far from Pedro Gil station: see www.urbanrail.net for a map of the three elevated rail lines.

There's no lack of money changers as they are at every street corner.

Remember to change money directly from the money changer and not from the touts.

There are scams that involves money changer.

Money Changer that is mentioned above are trustworthy. Else change money in the malls which are pretty decent especially in Makati.
