Sofitel Philippine Plaza (they are undergoing renovation, check if some of the new rooms are ready), Hyatt Hotel & Casino & Traders Hotel all have great views of the Manila Bay. Philippine Plaza also has nice garden areas which they might let you use for your photo sessions.

I suggest the Diamond Hotel or the new Hyatt Hotel and Casino. They have nice lobbies and rooms for pictorials and they are the ones nearest your venue.

congratulations!

Both the Diamond and Hyatt Hotel & Casinos are great choices for the day before your special day but you might want to try the old lady, Manila Hotel.

Rooms might be tired and dated but with lots of character and history, especially the lobby and other areas. Sounds corny but I picked up my partner once at a reception there, had lunch by myself at the Champagne Room and wish I could spend a billion pesos to refurbish this place and hand it over to Raffles to manage.

also, theres a new hotel called "G by Waterfront" as well as the Manila Pavilion waterfront at UN Avenue.

congratulations again.

I agree with most of the above posts, but if I could choose two, it would be Hotel Philippine Plaza and The Manila Hotel. Both hotels are most photogenic among the hotels in Manila.

Philippine Plaza have undergone some renovations, and the lobby and poolside areas are good for photo ops.

As mentioned in the above posts, rooms at the Manila Hotel are tired and badly needs a major overhaul, but as a backdrop to your pre wedding ceremony pictures, it is still very impressive on print. I'd go for Manila Hotel as my first choice. And also, after checking out the rates of Phil. Plaza, Diamond, and Hyatt, you'll be surprised to learn that Manila Hotel's rates are among the lowest. Imagine that the Manila Hotel lobby is one of the biggest (if not THE) biggest among hotels in Manila, and that walk as you exit from the elevator to the bridal car will be one of the longest (photo op! photo op!) plus of course they have a nice driveway. And oh, their lobby looks great during Christmas time.

The condition of rooms at the DIamond is the same - tired, and need some refurbishings. And photo wise, nothing in the area can beat Manila Hotel.

I'd put Hyatt Hotel and Casino as my third choice, only because the rooms are beautiful, but not that nice in pictures. And I can't imagine any angles for wedding pictures in their lobby.

When my sister got married she stayed at the Manila Hotel. She had better, "grander" pictures as compared to my sister who stayed at another hotel in Manila. "Grand" is the word. But again, that's in "pictures" only.

I'm actually quite worried for you that you still haven't booked if that's this December 23. Most probably you won't have a hard time with Manila Hotel as it's been always easy to book a room there (except for that typhoon "Milenyo" weekend), but whatever your choice maybe, I do hope you book it soon and enjoy a hassle free wedding and Christmas.

Best Wishes!

Hm,

I have another suggestion.

Another property which came to mind with regards to "nice art direction" was (I think the name is ) Orchid Hotel, Vito Cruz (in front of Rizal Memorial)

Its an ancestral house turned small hotel. Pretty old school and im not quite sure of the rooms, food or service (can't vouch on that but it did look pretty.. something out of oro plata mata)

Might want to check it out for kicks.

congratulations again.
