honestly that is hard to say and why not contact the apartment directly and ask ?? if they have english channels..it depends on the Satellite that they have and the Frequencies that are available .

Where are you staying? Most apartments have just Turkish TV with maybe the BBC Workd channel.

Hello,

We have not booked yet until we confirm our flights but it is Hill View Gardens Holiday Village and Resort. at Yalikavak.

I did ask the owner about TV but she was not sure.

There is a DVD player there so we could also bring some DVD assuming they will play out there!

Go out and explore Bodrum :-)

İn the hotels where İ have stayed with satellite tv offered all such a different channels, İ remember in Antalya there were lots of Russian channels in one hotel, in another some English, in Afyon mainly Turkish but sometimes BBC news. İf they have movie channels you cannot use the option for subtitles or original language İ am afraid.

Enjoy your holiday!

Thanks.

We normally tour all day seeing everything we can and flop down shattered in the evening so don't bother to go our at night as a rule being retired so we will make sure we have plenty of DVD's and books to go with our G & T's!

You will probably have BBC World and a few US news channels but who wants to watch the news on hols - DVDs will work in Turkey - we sometimes have a night at home on hols and watch a movie - as we go for 3 weeks we just can't stick the pace of out every night anymore lol!

I certainly wouldn't rely on there being anything to watch.

Take a few good books instead :)

You sometimes get films in English with turkish sub titles, this will depend on what the t.v. has tuned in.In many places, as stated, you only get news programs which repeat constantly.Better to take D.V.D,s.You can also look out for some to buy there.
