Gumbet or Bodrum

Hi,

Im looking to go to Gumbet or Bodrum as well.

Can any one advise us on whether we should do AI or self catering. We were last in Turkey in 2010 and not sure if prices have changed since then.

Would be great to know pricess for drinks and eating out etc.

Also we are not sure where to book but are considering the nagi beach hotel, green house apartments or the seray class?

Please could you advise on where they are in terms of location to the beach, night life etc and if the rooms are ok?

what are the best rooms? what are the pools like and can you get sun beds when you want?

Also they all charge for air con - is this the norm?

The three places you mention are all in Gumbet itself - the Nagi is right on the beach (practically in the centre of the bay), the Green House are a couple of streets back from the beach (but only a short walk - they are very popular) and the Seray Class are on the street between the Nagi and the Green House (two minutes from the beach). None of these are AI, with the Green House and Seray Class being SC. All are decent places. They are all close to the nightlife (the Nagi can be a little noisy if you get a room towards the top end which is close to Bar Street).

You will find that most places in Gumbet charge extra for aircon, it's the norm.

Jak xx

Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you have to pay for sun beds at the beach if you stay at the Green House or Seray Class.

Also how much is it for a beer, mixers, cocktails and eating out?
