Last weekend driving by the closed Steak N Ale they were working on it adding some kind of new facade. Anyone know what is planned for it?

I know I read something about this in the Morning Calls retail watch. I found a link to the column but don't have time to read all the articles and have to leave for work now: mcall.com/business/…6980630.columnist It's always good when a closed business opens again!

Thx! According to the link it will be a Prime Steak House opening on or about Halloween (October 31, 2009). I will eat there since the last tiem I ate at this Steak N Ale was 25 years ago after the Lafayette-Lehigh game in 1984!

Ms. Kruse does the Bethlehem forum, perhaps she doesn't look at posts in the Allentown one. I live equidistant between the two cities. If you want a good Steak house in Bethlehem, two are Emeril's chop house in the Sands Casino and the Colonnade Steak house in the hotel Bethlehem. Both are excellent.

Prime has not opened yet.

An article in the Morning Call said they have had some pre-opening difficulties and they should open within the next 30 days.

Also the Colonnade hasn't existed at the Hotel Bethlehem in at least 2-3 years. They rebranded the space as 1741 on the Terrace.
